Influencer Ashmusy has refunded the 1 million naira meant for brand promotion, following a public call-out by VeryDarkMan.
VeryDarkMan said that Ashmusy received the cash but failed to reimburse it, despite pledges to do so within 2-6 weeks.
Ashmusy also allegedly asked an additional 1.5 million naira owing to “inconveniences”.
The topic sparked a heated debate, with VeryDarkMan criticizing Ashmusy’s activities and encouraging other influencers to avoid similar behaviors.
Ashmusy’s return of the 1 million naira brings a close to the dispute, emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability in influencer marketing.
