- Solomon Buchi, a Nigerian writer and social media influencer, argues that American rapper Jay Z should be judged similarly to Puff Daddy over assault allegations.
- Attorney Tony Buzbee has filed a civil case against Jay-Z, alleged to have raped a 13-year-old girl with Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2000.
- Jay Z denies Tony Buzbee’s allegations and has filed a motion to dismiss the case, requesting Jane Doe to identify herself for transparent legal defense.
Nigerian author and social media figure Solomon Buchi has articulated his perspective on why American rapper Jay-Z should face scrutiny regarding the assault allegations made against him, similar to the treatment of Puff Daddy.
Attorney Tony Buzbee has recently initiated a civil lawsuit alleging that Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, participated in the rape of a 13-year-old girl alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2000.
In response to these allegations, Jay-Z has firmly denied the claims made by Tony Buzbee, and his legal representatives have submitted a motion to dismiss the lawsuit. They have requested that the individual identified as Jane Doe, the alleged victim, reveal her identity to enable Jay-Z to “properly defend himself against this false claim through the legal process in a transparent manner.”
In a post shared on his X account, Solomon Buchi remarked that those who believe Diddy is culpable of the charges should hold the same view regarding Jay-Z.
Furthermore, he suggested that Jay-Z’s spouse, Beyoncé Knowles Carter, should be included in the same discourse that has involved American artist Nicki Minaj due to her partner’s alleged misconduct.
‘‘If you believed every accusation against Diddy, then keep the same energy as the accusations against Jay Z.
‘‘If you dragged Nicki Minaj because her husband was a convicted rapist, keep the same energy as Beyoncé.
‘‘Believing that everyone else is evil and your fave is holy is insanity. It’s man worship. Rubbish stan culture.’’ Solomom Buchi wrote on his official X page.
