Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate for the 2023 election, has submitted a fresh case no. 23-5099 (N. Dot III.) against President Bola Tinubu at the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
According to Mr. Phrank Shaibu, Atiku’s Special Assistant on Public Communications, the former vice president decided to drop a previous lawsuit filed in front of an Illinois circuit court in light of the new lawsuit.
This was stated by Shaibu in a statement yesterday that was made public in Abuja.
“Waziri Atiku Abubakar only withdrawn the case before a Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois County, United States of America because he is pursuing the same matter in a higher court and he wanted to avoid abusing court procedures,” he said. Therefore, this is only the beginning.
Shaibu thought it was funny how Tinubu and his followers celebrated the news as if it were a Supreme Court ruling.
He emphasized that the president had been unable to name even one former classmate because Tinubu’s academic records from elementary school through university remained unrevealed.
His words: “In the last one week, Nigerians have been watching the ongoing ministerial screening at the Senate where nominees have been made to reveal their primary, secondary and university education history.
“Some of the ministerial nominees were even classmates with the senators screening them. However, the man who nominated them has no educational history. He has no primary school, secondary school or university classmates. This is because he has no classmates. He actually fell from the sky.”
