Nigerians including an ex-Vice President, Atiku Abubakar have expressed sadness over the passing of Nigerian Comic legend, Babatunde Omidina aka Baba Suwe.
Recall that the legendary actor passed away on Monday after a long battle with an illness.
Baba Suwe was born on August 22, 1958 and was married to comedienne Omoladun Omidina, who died in September 2009.
He dominated the Yoruba movie industry for decades, featured in several movies and bagged many awards.
Atiku mourning the actor thanked him for bringing joy into most Nigerian homes.
His tweet read: “Babatunde Omidina, aka Baba Suwe, thank you so very much for bringing so much happiness and joy into our homes. May your soul rest in peace.”
