The Recording Academy, the prestigious Grammy Awards organizers, are considering proposing Nigerian singer Sarah Aderibigbe, also known as Ayra Starr, in the 2023 edition.
On Wednesday, October 11, the musician disclosed via her Twitter (X) handle that her smash song ‘Rush’ is being considered for a Grammy nomination for the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.
‘Rush’ by Ayra Starr is off her debut album, ’19 & Dangerous,’ which was published in 2021.
The overjoyed singer acknowledged and thanked everybody who collaborated with her on the production.
Ayra wrote; “I am excited and honored that my song “Rush” off my debut album 19&Dangerious deluxe is being considered for this year’s #GRAMMY Awards!
“Super grateful to the creatives we worked on this together @andrevibez, @unusual_mbryo, @johnnydrille and @prodhoops.
