Nigerian singer Ayra Starr discusses her mother’s significant influence on her, despite being an established artist. Starr shares her experiences with her African mother, who would call her and her team to check on their safety.
Popular Nigerian singer and composer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known online as Ayra Starr, has garnered a lot of attention for her remarks regarding her mother’s significant influence even as a well-established musician.
This was revealed by “Rush” songstress Ayra Starr, who made her announcement when appearing as a guest on Beat FM. She discussed her spending habits, her Grammy nomination, and her impending album.
Ayra Starr reveals that her biological mother is still much an African mum even though we live in the twenty-first century.
In describing a situation involving her mother, Ayra Starr mentioned that although she had the money to purchase the desired bag, she chose not to do so because her mother would always criticize her for overspending on ostentatious goods.
Ayra Starr continued, saying that her mother used to phone her at her show at two in the morning to inquire as to whether or not she had returned home.
The Grammy-nominated singer went on to say that after her performances, her mother will frequently call her manager and crew to inquire about their safety.
