Rising star Ayra Starr recently took to Twitter to express her struggle with carrying the weight of Afrobeats on her shoulders.
She humorously mentioned that she can’t stand up straight anymore, attributing her bent waist to the burden of representing the genre this year.
It seems like Ayra Starr is playfully hinting at being the driving force behind Afrobeat’s popularity.
In her words “Guys I actually can’t stand straight, it’s not my fault My waist is bent from carrying afrobeats on my back this year”.
