“Barking at Davido won’t fix Nigeria” – Rapper Ruggedman

  • Ruggedman, a veteran rapper, has criticized Davido for his criticism of the Nigerian economy.
  • Davido, in a recent podcast interview, criticized American citizens for considering relocation to Africa, particularly Nigeria, citing the country’s economic crisis.
  • Ruggedman praised Davido’s insightful comment and urged the government to address the economy to prevent similar remarkings in the future.

Veteran rapper Michael Ugochukwu Stephens, known as Ruggedman, has criticized those who are condemning afrobeats artist Davido for his remarks regarding the Nigerian economy.

According to GistLover, Davido has faced significant backlash after advising American citizens against considering a move to Africa, particularly Nigeria, due to the country’s economy being in a “shamble,” as stated in a recent podcast interview.

In response, Ruggedman asserted that Davido’s comments were accurate. He called on the government to address the economic issues so that such statements would not be necessary in the future.

He emphasized that attacking Davido does not contribute to resolving the country’s problems, highlighting the severe hardships faced by the populace.

On his X handle, the rapper wrote, “Ok Davido has said what he said, moving forward the government should fix Nigeria so nobody will say such again. All this barking all over the place is not fixing the nation.

The hardship is too much.”

In other news, Ghanaian adult film star Daisy Melanin sparked controversy during a TikTok live session with her candid advice to women who reached out for financial assistance. Daisy, who gained notoriety after a video of her engaging in explicit acts with six men went viral, took the opportunity to discuss her experiences and offer unorthodox financial advice.

In the session, she revealed that her inbox is flooded with business collaboration requests from men, while women often seek monetary help. Responding bluntly, Daisy encouraged women to take control of their financial situations, suggesting they use their bodies as a means of income if necessary, just as she has done. She justified her stance by arguing that it’s unfair for her to share her earnings while she works hard in the adult film industry.

Her remarks stirred reactions, with many debating the implications and ethics of her advice. While some see her message as empowering for women to take charge of their financial independence, others criticize it as controversial and inappropriate.

She said in part:

“I’m using my t0+0 to make money, go and use +0+0 to make money too.”
