The well-known Nigerian musician Davido denied claims that he is trying to take full custody of his daughter Imade from her mother Sophia Momodu.

In response to the singer’s request for joint custody, Momodu has submitted a counter-affidavit in which she claims the child would be better off in her care.

He was upset that people were misinterpreting his motives because of his fame.

“You all want to act like you can’t read because it’s Davido, but all I asked for was joint custody,” he wrote on X.

“SMH… I’m done with this. y’all be blessed and I pray this never happens to you.”
