Legendary Nigerian comedian and singer, Basketmouth has signed a record deal with globally recognized record label, Empire.
The actor who wears many hats made the announcement via his Instagram page on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, sharing photos from the official signing ceremony.
With a successful album, ‘Yabasi’ already under his belt, the next feat was to get signed up by an international label that will see his music reach a far greater audience.
“Hey guys, did I mention that I’ve been signed by @empire? Well… I am,” he captioned his post.
EMPIRE Distribution, Records and Publishing Inc. is an American distribution company and record label founded in 2010 by Ghazi Shami and headquartered in San Francisco, California, with offices in New York City, London, Nashville, and Atlanta
Empire is an independent record label that handles music licensing and distribution and boasts a lineup of successful Nigerian artistes such as Olamide and Fireboy DML.
Meanwhile Reality TV star Sammie, lashes out at fans that are in the spirit of making up fights between housemates.
In a recent tweet, the housemate who fell out around halfway on the show put out a caution to fans who are of the habit of seeing housemates go against one another.
Sammie further emphasized the joy it would mean for them all to see one another grow rather than fighting.
