Nigerian comedian and actor, Basketmouth, also known as Bright Okpocha, has utilized social media to commemorate his son, Jason’s 16th birthday today.
In a heartfelt gesture, he shared a compilation of photographs that encapsulate cherished moments with his son, encompassing both recent and nostalgic snapshots.
Basketmouth went on to propose the idea of designating May 9th as a public holiday in Nigeria, solely dedicated to celebrating his beloved son’s birthday.
Describing Jason as his “everything,” he conveyed his profound affection for him.
In his words: “On this day, 16yrs ago…a king was born. In actual fact, May 9th should be declared a public holiday. Hold on let me talk to the Federal Government. This is totally wrong. 😡 Happy Birthday Jason, you’re my everything! Wishing you a happy and memorable birthday. Love you son.”
AY Makun, who was once a competitor in the comedy industry, took the opportunity to send birthday greetings to Jason and express his heartfelt prayers for divine guidance in all his future endeavors.
He wrote: “Happy birthday, Jason . May God’s grace continue to light your path, guiding you towards a future filled with success and contentment”
