In a recent video, Elsie Okpocha, the ex-wife of Nigerian comic Basketmouth, called deliberate debtors evil individuals.
She claimed in her video that those who deliberately refuse to pay their debts are blatantly evil individuals.
She added that most debtors would approach their target and make a very kind and courteous request for money, but once they had it, they turn nasty and find it very difficult to pay back their debts.
It was one thing, she went on, for someone to be in debt and unable to pay back a loan, but it was another for someone to be wealthy and decide to delay payment.
Elsie even used the example of those who would rather overspend on ostentatious things than make the required loan installments.
She continued by saying that some creditors treated their debts with such disdain that they would go back and take out new loans on top of what they already owed.
They would justify it by saying they would pay the whole sum at once. She cautioned others against acting in such a way, stating that such are the ones to whom people pray that a thunderstorm will arrive.
