The reality TV, star Erica took to Instagram Live in the early hours of July 16, 2024, to fervently recount the encounter to her followers.
“His name is Stanley and he’s from British Airways,” she said. “I paid for business class and they are trying to downgrade me to economy and I didn’t come late.”
Erica vented her annoyance and said she was treated unfairly. “What happened before? I wasn’t recording; I was on my own and then you called a uniformed person on me and said I was recording,” she recounted. “Now that I’m recording, even if you guys want to do anything to me, if you want to shoot me, everybody can see what you’re doing. Let me see what you guys want to do.”
She was seen being comforted by men in uniform and airport staff during the video, but she retorted that hundreds of her fans were watching the injustice on her livestream.
She went on, “You have not seen the mad side of me in four years and now it’s out. I’ve been nice since and the niceness isn’t getting me anywhere but now I have to be nasty.”
She refused to back down and demanded that the airline issue her original, paid-for business class ticket.
She asserted, “Don’t bring problems my way and I won’t bring problems your way. Now you’re telling me, please. I came here all nice and you told me that you wanted to put me on economy. What the fuck? Did you all not collect the money? Give me what I paid for.”

She stated that they had asked her to wait 7-30 days to review her claims, which she deemed unacceptable.
