Amaka, Big Brother Naija newly ‘Level Up’ housemate, has opened up about her deteriorated friendship with fellow housemate, Phyna.

Remember that duo were best of friends till their relationship turned sour over her rumor peddling.

Amaka revealed this in an interview with Lagos Talks FM, Amaka claimed that Phyna betrayed her by hooking up with Groovy, whom she had feelings for.

Amaka stated that Phyna was supposed to talk to Groovy on her behalf, but she ended up snatching him to herself.

In another interview with Wazobia FM, Amaka stated that she felt backstabbed when Phyna blamed her for a mission she sent her on.

Amaka claimed that Phyna was the one who sent her on a mission to tell Chichi about her escapades with Groovy, but she denied it and blamed her in front of everyone”.

Gistlover also reported that the intense drama between the housemates of Big Brother Naija, season 7, Level Up, had heightened as different kinds of ‘ships’ such as relationships, friendships, and others tried to take a stand in the house.

A video that made rounds online was the reunion between female Level Up housemates, Amaka and Phyna, who had been at loggerheads over a male housemate, Groovy.

Groovy and Beauty were an item in the Big Brother house before the latter was disqualified for her misconduct in the house after she had earned three strikes from Biggie.

Before Beauty’s disqualification, Amaka had made her love intentions for Groovy known to her buddy, Phyna. She had several times expressed her desire to be with him.

Following Beauty’s disqualification, Amaka urged Phyna to act as an intermediary between her and Groovy, to which the latter kicked off a relationship with him.

Phyna’s action caused a huge difference between them as they fought over petty issues in the house.

A video that found its way online captured Amaka trying to settle the dispute between herself and her former best friend, Phyna.

Amaka was captured soothing Phyna with words that made her faulty about their fight. She believed Phyna deserved Groovy because she dared to walk up to him and declare her intentions.
