Wanni Danbaki, the second-place contestant on Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard,’ asserted that her boyfriend Shaun was never into Nelly.

She pointed out that it was Nelly who had feelings for Shaun.

Shaun had revealed on the show that he chose Wanni over Nelly because Nelly didn’t take the initiative.

In a recent interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Wanni stated that it was Nelly who was flirting with Shaun.

She mentioned that if Shaun had been interested in Nelly, he would have pursued her.

“If Shaun wanted Nelly he would’ve gone for her and he would’ve had her because I knew that Nelly wanted him too, even when we were together she was still flirting with him,” Wanni claimed.

Nelly and Sooj were in a romantic relationship on the show, yet they both claimed their relationship was not clearly defined.

In other news, Big Brother Naija Season 9 finalist, Victoria, discussed her relationship with fellow contestant Shaun Okojie.

Initially, Victoria and Shaun entered the house as a couple known as Shatoria, but they were subsequently separated.

Although Shaun began a romantic relationship with Wanni just weeks into the competition, there were speculations regarding a prior romantic connection between Shaun and Victoria before the show commenced.

In a recent interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Victoria acknowledged that she and Shaun shared a past.

She mentioned that their relationship had been affected by a number of “petty arguments” they experienced during the lockdown period.

Victoria also revealed that Wanni, Shaun’s girlfriend in the house, inquired about her relationship with Shaun prior to their own dating.

“I will be very honest: I and Shaun did have a bit of back and forth during the lockdown; we were fighting over silly things. Going into the house, he found his confidant, and I had to deal with a lot of emotions on my own,” Victoria said.

“Going into the house, I knew I wasn’t going to like anybody because my standard are very high, I know what I want. When I got into the house, I honestly did not see anybody that I liked. Even Wanni asked if me and Shaun had something, I told her no.”
