BBNaija S9: ‘I was ashamed I had child at young age’ – Rhuthee

Rhuthee, a housemate in Big Brother Naija’s ‘No Loose Guard’ season, has opened up about her journey and challenges as a teen mother.

On Wednesday, she revealed to fellow housemate Mayor Frosh that she was first ashamed to be a mom at the age of a teenage age.

According to the mother of one, even though she struggled with telling people she had a child, she eventually realized that her daughter was the “best thing” that happened to her.

Rhuthee asked, in tears, “How do I tell people I have a child?” I can’t tell anyone. I never told anybody I had a child.

“It was just people that knew me from way back that knew that. I was still very ashamed that I had a child. It took me years to come out of that shell.“

As she grows, she even showed me more love than I ever did. And I’m like, this girl is the best thing that happened to me.”
