Zion, a contestant from Big Brother Naija Season 9, stated that his upset girlfriend can leave the show, but he will stay, even though they are a couple.
According to Gistlover, Chinwe expressed her intention to leave the show on Thursday night after accusing Zion of betraying her to gain favor with other housemates.
On Friday morning, she shared with fellow housemate Michky that she had already notified Biggie about her choice to exit.
After her threats, Zion stated that he isn’t concerned about Chinwe leaving. However, he promised to protest if Biggie tries to make him leave with her, as the rules this season require contestants to compete in pairs.
In a conversation with Anita, Zion said, “This is just the second week, I shouldn’t be quenching smoke fires, because that just means that you’ve forgotten why we are here. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t go home.
“If she wants to go she can go, of course, we came here together, doesn’t mean we have to go together. If she goes to meet Biggie that she wants to go, let her say she wants to go, I didn’t say I want to go home.
“I can take the ZinWe badge off, and Zion go dey the house. It doesn’t make sense that she will now use her own to hurt my own. We are here as a pair, lets go as a pair, lets help each other in the long run. This whole situation should help us grow, it shouldn’t make us to be divided.”
