BBNaija’s Chinwe begs Biggie to scrap custodians, housemates of eviction power

Chinwe, a Big Brother Naija Season 9 competitor, has begged Biggie to deprive the custodians and housemates of their eviction power.

The rule this season allows any pair that wins the custodian challenge to influence nominations and eviction.

Housemates who are not in the bottom four can sometimes vote on which duo to be remove based on what is in the custodian box.

Chinwe grumbled to fellow housemates on Monday that the current eviction technique prevented them from fully expressing themselves.

She then asked Biggie to scrap the method so that the housemates could express themselves freely without fear of being evicted by their fellow housemates.

She said, “There’s too much power in this house, so people cannot actually speak their minds. And that makes mad sense. The fact that we have to even walk in there [Dairy room] to decide people’s fate is enough to calm you down.

“Do you understand? Biggie should scrap that method. Talk your talk. The fact that we have to decide people’s fate, you wouldn’t want to step on toes to avoid other housemates ganging up against you.”

In other news, Shaun, a Big Brother Naija Season 9 contestant, has claimed that he is the one carrying Shatoria, the pair consisting of himself and Victoria.

Shaun spoke with Wanni and Handi on Monday and shared his admiration for the team and their cooperation.

He stated that, unlike his pair, they are a true dynamic duo.

He said that he was the one carrying his duo without much assistance from his partner, Victoria.

“You [Wanni and Handi] are a dynamic duo. “I am the one carrying my duo,” Shaun added in a downbeat tone.

In the last two weeks, the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, stated that some of the housemates were being carried by their partners.

Last Sunday, Ebuka asked Victoria whether she thought her relationship with her partner was “off” and she claimed it wasn’t.

Victoria has been laid back since the start of the show, which has affected her relationship with her partner and the other housemates.

In her defense, Victoria stated that she is taking care not to interfere with Shaun’s relationship with his buddies.

Wanni and Handi are the current custodians.

On Monday, Nelita won both the Head of House and the Immunity Challenge.

The couple is the first Head of House to get immunity this season.
