Evicted Big Brother Naija contestant, Chinwe, 30, has refuted claims that she “hired” her boyfriend and fellow housemate, Zion, 26.

Speculation arose after Chinwe mentioned “sponsoring” Zion, leading some to believe their relationship was fabricated for the show.

In a recent interview with Hero Daniels, Chinwe clarified that they were already in a relationship prior to their participation in the show.

She expressed her frustration with those perpetuating the narrative that she “hired” Zion, stating it was an unfair judgment of her character.

“I feel like I’ve been judged unfairly.

“Some people said I hired ‘sponsored’ Zion without even knowing the history of our relationship,” she said.

Chinwe emphasized that they had been together for five months before entering the show. However, she expressed dissatisfaction with Zion discussing their private moments during the reality series.

“Zion should not have talked about our intimate moments,” Chinwe added.
