BBNaija’s Ka3na opens up on re-marrying on hubby’s death anniversary

Katrina Jones, also known as Ka3na, a reality TV star and businesswoman, has made it clear that she did not divorce her late husband, Mr. Jones, before his passing.

Her British husband passed away in May last year and was laid to rest in a private funeral.

There have been rumors circulating that she inherited his wealth and was looking for a new partner.

However, Ka3na commemorated Mr. Jones’ death anniversary on May 30 through her official accounts on Instagram and X, stating that she was legally and traditionally married to him and never went through a formal divorce process, making her his widow.

She requested the public to respect her statement and avoid spreading any false information about her marital status.

The former Big Brother Naija contestant also mentioned that she has no plans of remarrying or changing her late husband’s surname. Ka3na reposted the message from X to Instagram.

“Public Announcement: I believe it is necessary for me to clarify a misconception that has been circulating amongst the public. There are individuals who falsely claim that I was divorced from my late husband prior to his untimely passing.

“This is entirely untrue. I was legally and traditionally married to Mr. Jones, and I am now his widow. I have no intention of remarriage or changing my marital status by dropping my husband’s name.

“I kindly request that everyone respects this statement and refrains from spreading any form of misinformation.”
