BBNaija’s Kiddwaya sets to join music industry

  • Kiddwaya, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, has announced his intention to enter the music industry.
    • The 31-year-old plans to use his father’s wealth to secure the most talented artists for his work.

Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Terseer Waya, known as Kiddwaya, has expressed his desire to enter the music industry.

At 31 years of age, he indicated that he plans to utilize his father’s financial resources to collaborate with top artists in the field.

He shared this intention on his X account on Sunday, stating, “Perhaps I should also consider a career in music. My father is affluent, so we can simply engage the best talents available. Let me see how it goes.”

In recent years, numerous Nigerian reality television stars have transitioned into music following their rise to fame on these shows.

Notable artists such as Timi Dakolo, Omawunmi, Iyanya, Chidinma, Laycon, Efe Money, and several others have launched their musical careers after participating in reality competitions.

In other news, Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, famously known as Rudeboy, and his wife, Ivy Ifeoma, have celebrated a joyous milestone by dedicating their daughter, Imani, in church. The event, held amid fanfare, sparked excitement among fans and industry colleagues.

The couple welcomed baby Imani in September 2024, and Rudeboy marked the special occasion by sharing heartfelt photos and a video from the dedication on Instagram.

Dressed in elegant white attire, Rudeboy is seen cradling their daughter as he and Ivy Ifeoma gaze at her lovingly. Surrounded by family and loved ones, the intimate gathering radiated warmth and joy.

However, the absence of Rudeboy’s brothers, Peter and Jude Okoye, was notable, highlighting ongoing tensions within the family. The singer captioned the post, “Princess Imani’s dedication,” as fans and followers celebrated the family’s special day.
