Reality TV star Kim Oprah recently opened up about her run-in with immigration officials in Kenya.
In a “get ready with me” video, she shared a frustrating experience from one of her trips to another African country.
Kim revealed that she has a second citizenship, which usually lets her travel visa-free to several African nations, including Kenya and Tanzania. However, the Kenyan immigration officers insisted she use her Nigerian passport and get a visa.
Kim explained that the immigration staff were worried about people from other African countries taking advantage of the visa-free policy for illegal activities, which is why they required her to have a visa.
In the end, after applying for a visa on arrival, she was allowed to enter Kenya without any more problems.
