Neo Akpofure, a former BBNaija contestant, responded to critics who questioned his success story.
He posted pictures from five years ago when he worked as a Bolt driver, showing the moment he picked up singer MC Galaxy and drove him to his location.
Some users from X said Neo was trying too hard to be down-to-earth.
They noted that he is the son of a rich man.
Neo countered by explaining that his father has the money, but he started from the ground up.
He engaged with specific critics by replying to their tweets and also made a general post for all his critics.
It reads: “Woke up to a bunch of rants from ignorant people who sit on their asses and have no idea what it means to have seen their dreams come true..No hate I just wish y’all relate one day.”
In related news, Neo Akpofure, a former Big Brother Naija participant, took to social media to share a sweet throwback photo and story.
The photo featured him helping popular musician MC Galaxy while he was working as a Bolt driver in Calabar five years ago.
Neo recalled how MC Galaxy and his companion craved bush meat and palm wine from a local eatery called Atimbo. They enjoyed the delicious treats together before he took them to the airport.
Thinking back on this experience, Neo expressed appreciation for his life journey. He recognized that if he had given up on his aspirations back then, he would have missed the chances that brought him to where he is now.
