Reality television personality Nina Ivy has encountered criticism for her advocacy of early childbirth, particularly in one’s twenties.

Previously, she expressed her desire to have children during this decade and indicated her willingness to consider using a sperm donor if necessary.

In light of the criticism, Nina took to Instagram to clarify her stance, recognizing that each person’s journey is distinct and apologizing for any offense her remarks may have caused.

She elaborated that her intention was to emphasize the advantages of having children in one’s twenties, such as the potential for nurturing strong relationships and possessing greater energy for parenting.

Nina further noted that challenges can emerge at any age and encouraged a focus on the positive aspects while appreciating each individual’s unique path.

“I understand your concern and didn’t mean to sound insensitive. However, you’re right that many women don’t have control over when they can have children, but it’s also true and doesn’t change the fact that some do have that choice. My comment was meant to reflect that diversity of experiences. I recognize that everyone’s journey is different, and I appreciate the chance to clarify my perspective, which I also did on my Snapchat the day I made that post, blogs always choose what they want to post anyway.

“Losses can happen whether you choose to have kids in your 20s or 50s but I believe it’s important to focus on the beautiful and positive aspects of life rather than dwelling on the negatives. Just as some may face challenges with early parenthood, others may encounter them even if they have children later. Let’s try to see the bright side and appreciate the good things we have. Everyone’s experience is different and that’s okay”, she wrote.

Additionally, she reaffirmed that her viewpoint is shaped by her personal experiences and observations, and she respects differing perspectives

“I believe that having kids in your 20s can be the best option because it often allows you to have more energy and time to raise your children, while also giving you more years later in life to pursue other goals once they are grown. I also think it can be beneficial for building a strong, long-lasting relationship with your children as you grow together. Example “Omoni Oboli”.“This is my perspective based on my own experiences and observations. I understand that everyone’s situation is different, and it’s completely okay if you don’t agree with me.

“You can’t shove your opinion on my throat the same way I’m not shoving mine on yours. PS: You don’t have to agree with me either and that’s okay”, she added.
