Adunni Ade, a Nollywood actress, has subtly criticized the Yoruba film industry.
Ever since the actress publicly called out the industry for selling their voting rights for N90,000 during the election, Adunni Ade has become an enemy.
The mother of two boys published beautiful photos of herself, unconcerned by the various accusations and threats they level at her.
Adunni Ade declared that she wouldn’t change who she was and would keep acting that way.
“Be You with no apologies”.
Adunni Ade, a Nigerian actress, has come under fire for allegedly owing late actor Murphy Afolabi money.
Afolabi’s colleagues organized an 8-day Fidau prayer in his honor, which is a day reserved for extra prayers for the departed, eight days following his passing.
Muslim clerics were called to preach to the living and offer prayers for the deceased while also collecting money for his family and children.
The late actor’s burial committee called out Adunni Ade during the Fidau Prayer, claiming that before his untimely death, Murphy Afolabi had given the actress N250,000 for a part in his future film.
They pleaded with her to return the funds.
A night of tributes organised in Murphy’s honour by his colleagues was held on Sunday, May 21.
Murphy died on May 14 after a fall in the bathroom at his Ikorodu home. He was buried on Monday, May 15 at his home.
