Grammy-winning musician Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has officially confirmed the title of his new album.
On Friday night, March 15th, 2024, the artist unveils the name of his highly awaited new album in the insta-stories area of his verified Instagram profile.
This comes after the “Bad To Me” singer announced in a viral post that he is no longer an Afrobeats musician and that anyone who like the genre should avoid downloading his next album.
Wizkid sheds further information on the album by naming it after his late mother, (Mrs) Juliana Morayo Balogun.

Wizkid regards his mother’s death as the darkest pain he has ever encountered, and he says it left him with an emptiness.
He said in his most recent Instagram post that his upcoming album is titled “Morayo” and that it will be the finest album he has ever recorded.
After he concluded by criticizing the father figures in every Nigerian media organization with the phrase “Una Papa,” Wizkid stated that no blogs or other Nigerian media should include his next album “Morayo.”
Wizkid wrote; “Album name “”Morayo”” best I ever made.”
