A funny exchange ensued between Nigerian singers and celebrity couple, Simi and Adekunle Gold on Twitter moments ago.
The mother of one who started the #Nobodylikewoman challenge on social media to help women confront the things that have been said to demean them, finally released her much anticipated track, Woman.
Since it’s release fans have trooped to different social media platforms to commend the singer for the unique piece. Meanwhile a fan in a tweet stated that Simi recorded the song since 2019.
The ‘woman crooner’ in reaction to the fan’s tweet confirmed that she recorded the song since 2019 but decided to wait on the release after she fell pregnant with her first child.
“Ye Dem gimme belle, so I decided to wait”, she wrote.
Simi’s husband, Adekunle Gold on sighting his wife’s response wasted no time in commenting. He quoted her tweet and wrote, “Shey AG Baby wa kere ni”.
Meanwhile Reality TV star, Angel Smith, has been hospitalized and placed on medication.
A video on Angel’s official Instagram fan page made rounds on social media on Friday, showing that Angel was receiving medications.
The caption on the video read, “ANGEL, feel better soon. May good health envelop you, spurring a quick recovery.”
This comes a day after Pere was reportedly hospitalised and his Instagram account disabled.
On Tuesday, the BBNaija season 6 winner, Whitemoney, was also hospitalised but regained strength later on the same day.
