Supporters of the Biafra Nation are planning on staging a demonstration against the arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu in Germany.
The demonstration has been fixed for 10 a.m on July 9 at the British Embassy in Berlin, the country’s capital.
The IPOB leader is also a citizen of the UK, and the UK government has promised to intervene in Kanu’s arrest.
He has been accused of ordering the murder of security operatives and attacks on government establishments.
Prominent Nigerians have warned the Federal Government to handle the case legally and not allow the IPOB leader die in detention as it can lead to war in the country.
In a related development, the self-acclaimed founder of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Emeka Emekesiri, has reacted to the arrest and re-arraignment of Nnamdi Kanu.
