Biography of Michelle Alozie, Nigeria’s most beautiful female football player

Michelle Chinwendu Alozie (born 28 April 1997) is an American-born Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a forward for National Women’s Soccer League team Houston Dash and the Nigeria women’s national team. Michelle Alozie is unarguably the ‘sexiest’ Super Falcons star.

The 25-year-old forward only debuted for the senior national team in 2021 and has become a regular member of the squad.

Her elegant physique always gives more than most of the time when she chooses to flaunt her hot bod.

It’s like she knows she’s an absolute sweetheart and keeps reminding her fans of that singular fact, going by her impressive style on her social media page.

Many might not see the ‘melanin dripping’ when she’s in action, but the minute she’s out of her kits, she always stuns and understands the assignment whether she’s sun-kissed or basking in the autumn season.

Alozie’s early years

Alozie was born to Nigerian parents from the Imo State of Nigeria and  was raised in Apple Valley, California. She attended Granite Hills High School.

Career during college

Alozie played football for the Yale Bulldogs while an undergraduate student at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. She transferred as a graduate to the University of Tennessee to continue playing for the Tennessee Volunteers after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament that cut short her senior season.

Despite signing up for the 2019 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) College Draft, Alozie was not chosen.

Kazygurt BIIK

Alozie committed to BIIK Kazygurt, the reigning champions of the Kazakhstani women’s football championship, in January 2020. Before COVID-19 called it a season and she returned to California, she put in three months of practice and played for the team.

Dash for Houston

In 2021, as a preseason trialist without a contract, Alozie joined the Houston Dash, where his childhood friend Ally Prisock was playing. Twila Kilgore, a Dash assistant, had previously recruited Alozie when Kilgore was the Pepperdine Waves’ head coach. A full contract for the remainder of the season was then signed by Alozie in August 2021 after initially signing a national team replacement contract during the Houston Dash season of 2021. Alozie’s first postseason start came during the Dash’s appearance in the 2022 NWSL Playoffs.

Alozie agreed to a two-year contract extension with the Dash in December 2022.

Career abroad

On June 10, 2021, Alozie made her senior debut for Nigeria as a 65th-minute substitute in a 0-1 friendly loss to Jamaica. Randy Waldrum, who oversaw the Dash previously, chose Alozie as his national team’s mascot. On June 8, 2021, while Alozie was still a trialist with the Dash, he requested that James Clarkson invite Waldrum to the team’s practice. At that time, Waldrum named Alozie and Esther Okoronkwo to the roster for Jamaica the following day. Due to a lack of other options, Waldrum used Alozie at full-back.

She joined the 23-member Nigerian team on June 16, 2023, in preparation for the FIFA Women’s World Cup. On July 21, 2023, she faced Canada in a goalless draw to make her FIFA Women’s World Cup debut. Six days later, she was crucial to Nigeria’s 3-2 victory over the co-hosts, Australia. She eventually played every minute of the tournament for the Super Falcons, helping Nigeria defeat England on penalties following a 0-0 draw in a fiercely contested round of 16 match in Lang Park, Brisbane.

 Medical career off the field

Alozie graduated from Yale University with a degree in molecular biology. At the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas, she has a part-time job as a cancer research technician.
