Biola Adebayo Successfully Raises N15 Million For Olayinka Adebanjo’s Surrogacy Treatment After Cry For Help

  • Biola Adebayo has stated that N15 million has been raised for her older colleague, Olayinka Adebanjo.
    • She also said that the surgery would start immediately.
    • On the Talk To B podcast in January, Olayinka made an emotional plea for assistance in becoming a mother again.

Actress Biola Adebayo has stated that N15 million has been raised for her older colleague, Olayinka Adebanjo, who recently sought public aid for surrogacy after losing her only child at the age of 28.

She also said that the surgery would start immediately.

On the Talk To B podcast in January, Olayinka made an emotional plea for assistance in becoming a mother again following the devastating loss of her 28-year-old son, Adeniyi Ishola, a nurse who fell and died while playing football.

She conveyed her regret, explaining that she had pondered adoption but ultimately preferred to have her own child. She tearfully stated:

“I have seen a lot after the loss of my son. Some people have even mocked me, calling me barren in my old age.”

Olayinka, a well-known personality in Yoruba film since 1983, revealed that she had previously spent a lot of money on medical exams at an adoption center in Abeokuta. She was still determined to look into other medical possibilities, though.

During the podcast, Biola Bayo offered surrogacy as a realistic option, estimating a cost of N15 to N20 million.

On Thursday, the actor and podcaster posted an update on Instagram, revealing that not only has the requisite amount been nearly fully raised, but a fertility facility has also stepped in to assist with the process. She posted on her page:

“We have raised about N15m for Aunty Yinka’s surrogacy already. The best news is that one of the top surrogacy specialists in Nigeria, @the_fertility_doctor, has agreed to help us with the process.”

According to Biola, the hospital has drastically decreased its prices, covering a large part of the costs, allowing Olayinka to use the remaining monies to launch her own business.

She encouraged fans to continue supporting and praying for the seasoned actress, and she thanked everyone who helped.
