Bishop David Oyedepo Speaks On The Importance Of Faith And Declarations

Prominent cleric Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has once again elicited responses from Nigerians by underscoring the importance of private declarations in influencing the dynamics of spiritual existence.

In his discourse, he asserted that the manifestation of divine power is unattainable without a verbal expression, urging believers to articulate their faith and align their words with the promises of God.

He further noted that while Jesus possessed the ability to defy God’s command, He opted to adhere to divine will.

In discussing the themes of faith and declaration, the Bishop emphasized that individuals can declare their aspirations in faith, and such declarations will indeed come to fruition.

His words:

“He said to Pilate, ‘You will have no power over me. If I manifest now, you will be smelling,’”

“It’s impossible to command the supernatural with closed mouth. Jesus, the most anointed that ever walked the planet Earth said, “He was brought to judgement, yet He opened not His mouth” – because it was the way to go, He was on the way there. There is no closed mouth that can command the supernatural. Isaiah 53:7…but if you get down to John 18 when they came against Him “whom seek ye?” – ‘Jesus’ and they fell backward. He had all the power but “I have not come to do my will but thine will, O God.”Nobody could have taken His life from Him. He said to Pilate “you will have no power over me. If I manifest now, you will be smelling.”

“You can’t command the supernatural with “I can’t say I’m healed when I’m not healed. I want to be true to myself.” satan says, “yes, you are a very true man. Just be true. Be true abeg.” Before I saw money, I had already declared, “I can never be poor.” Before I tasted marriage, I had declared, “set for hitch free marriage.” What are your declarations? Have you ever declared anything that you stood with? We are not redeemed as robots. We have the facts of Scriptures to live a fulfilled life.”

Nigerians displayed an overwhelming response across all social media platforms, unable to contain their emotions.
