The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church International, alias Winners’ Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, reveals the kind of people he would never render help to.
According to the clergyman, it is expedient to pay attention to the poor people in the church before you move outside to help the non-members of your church. He quoted a verse from the scripture, Galatians chapter six verse ten, which has it that Christians are to do good for all people, particularly those who share their religious beliefs with them.
In his words: “Today, there are a lot of people on the side of the road begging for charity, but God says to do good to all men, especially those in the household of faith,”
“Giving to the Needy begins with those who are already in the household of faith. The needy in the church is the best grand to see in terms of giving to the needy, not the malams by the roadside,”
He added that showing love to your church members is the same as showing love to God and what the early church did for nonbelievers was to pray for them. “The only church only prays for those by the roadside; they do not give them anything. They only give to the needy in the church.”
“If you do good to one of my brethren, you have done good to me,” Oyedepo said. The Needy in the body of Christ is the best grand for sawing seeds to the poor.” he added
