Blessing CEO regains freedom, set to release statement

Popular relationship expert, Blessing Okoro fondly called Blessing CEO, has been released from detention after perfecting her bail conditions.

It may be recalled that she was remanded in prison on April 1, 2023, on the allegation of cyber-bullying Folashade Samuels, the sister of auto dealer, IVD’s late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna.

According to the Lagos State PPRO, Benjamin Hundeyin, a federal high court sitting in Lagos ordered the remand of the marriage counselor. She was arraigned on a six-count charge of alleged cyber bullying, libel and for exhibiting uncensored movies.

Blessing took to her Instagram page on April 20 after regaining her freedom and described herself as a Child of grace, while thanking her fans and supporters.

She said that she will release a lengthy speech later as words fail her currently and she is still shaking as a result of her ordeal.

The Instagram Influencer shared photos of herself and wrote; “Child of grace ….Thank you lovers … Words fail me my hands still shaking .. Long speech 🎤 coming ….”

Hundeyin had said Blessing was arrested by operatives of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID).

Justice Yelim Bogoro, on Friday remanded her in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Services, NCoS, till the 30th of May for a hearing of her bail application.

However, during the hearing of the case on Tuesday, her lawyer filed a bail application before Justice Tijjani Ringim of the Federal High Court, where she was granted N10 million bail with two sureties in like sum.
