Falz, a popular Nigerian rapper and activist, has filed legal action against media personality Verydarkman (VDM) on claims that he and his father sought to assist Bobrisky get a Federal pardon while he was in jail.
Verydarkman broke the internet yesterday with an audio tape claiming that Falz and his father, Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), interfered in Bobrisky’s case and demanded a N10 million bribe from the crossdresser.
Falz’s complaint contradicts the VDM’s allegation. According to him, Bobrisky reached out seeking assistance to influence his stay in the VIP session of the correctional centre, but Falz merely offered advice.
Falz’s lawsuit demanded that Verydarkman retract his statement and apologize or face the full wrath of the law.
