Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in prison by the Federal High Court in Lagos State on Friday, according to reports earlier today.
Justice Abimbola Awogboro sentenced him to six months in prison without the possibility of a fine for abusing the naira.
Before the sentence, the judge asked about his gender, and he quickly replied that he was a man.
When the judge inquired, “Are you a man or a woman?” Bobrisky answered, “I am a man.”
Justice Abimbola claims that Bobrisky’s arrest will discourage others.
