The re-release of an old film featuring prominent Nigerian actresses and senators’ wives, Mercy Johnson and Regina Daniels, caused a flood of comments and chatter among fans.
Mercy Johnson appeared as Dumebi in the classic film “Dumebi the Dirty Girl,” while Regina Daniels played her closest friend and classmate, who supported and watched out for her when she was an adult attending secondary school.
The revealed clip mainly featured their youthful qualities, particularly Regina Daniels as a child actor, whose voice remains intact to this day.
After seeing the movie preview, several fans couldn’t help but marvel about Mercy and Regina’s parts in the film and their outstanding progress as top actors, as well as their position as wives to influential Nigerian senators.
Regina Daniels married billionaire politician and Delta North senatorial district representative Ned Nwoko in May 2019 in Aniocha Local Government Area, Delta State. She is happily married, with two children.
Mercy Johnson, on the other hand, is married to Prince Odianosen Okojie, a well-known congressman who represents the Esan South-East/Esan North-East Federal Constituency in Edo State. They are happily married with four children.
