The Defense Minister of Ghana, Dominic Nitiwul has admitted that it’s not only the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) that is guilty of busing people to register in the Banda constituency in the ongoing voter registration exercise but his own party, the New Patriotic Party is equally at fault.
For this reason, the Regional Security Council (REGSEC) has been tasked to prevent busing of people to the registration centers which both parties; NDC and NPP signed an agreement to that effect.
“Both parties were busing people. I am not going to sit down here and say it is only one party that was busing. They were all guilty of doing it. That is the briefing I had from the military,” he told Evans Mensah in a yet-to-be-aired interview on PM Express on Monday.
