Breaking: Abdulrasheed Maina Re-arrested In Niger Republic.
The Former pension reform task team boss, Abdulrasheed Maina, who jumped his bail has been arrested on Monday evening.
Maina, who is being prosecuted for N2bn money laundering trial was arrested in Niger Republic, Gistlover understands.
According to PR Nigeria, a top intelligence officer confirmed the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) arrested Mr. Maina in Niger Republic.
It will be recalled Maina is currently standing trial on a 12-count money laundering charge filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The embattled Ex-chairman pension reform boss jumped bail which prompted Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court to order his surety, Senator Ali Ndume to be remanded in custody.
The Senator was then released on bail last week Friday after meeting conditions set by the court.
