The election of All Progressives Congress (APC) governor Abdullahi Sule as the lawfully elected governor of Nasarawa State has been upheld by the Court of Appeal, which is based in Abuja.
In its ruling on Thursday, the Appellate Court stated that the State Election Petitions Tribunal erred in naming David Ombugadu, the PDP candidate in the March 18 governorship election, as the legitimate victor of the contest.
