Dino Melaye the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the ongoing governorship election has charged the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state with tampering with the election in voting places throughout the Ogori/Magogo local government area.
Shortly after casting his ballot at his polling place on Saturday, November 11, the PDP candidate made the accusation in a video that was uploaded to his X (formerly Twitter) page.
The former senator said that simple result sheets were not given to voters. Additionally, he added that there had already been widespread protests at all of the council area’s polling places.
In the event that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials did not provide their polling unit agents with clear result sheets, the former senator urged his party agents throughout the state to make sure that the election did not start.
