The restoration of the power supply has been Announced by the Eko Electricity Distribution Company.
Following the complete failure of Nigeria’s energy grid early on Thursday morning, there was a widespread blackout throughout the whole nation.
Gistlover previously revealed that on September 14, 2023, at around 12:40 a.m., the entire grid collapsed, causing a huge loss of supplies to power distributors statewide.
On Thursday morning, a number of sources in the energy industry, including electrical distribution firms, confirmed the development to our correspondent.
On Thursday, both the Eko Electricity Distribution Company and the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company Plc issued a notification headlined “Notice of Total System Collapse.”
Eko Disco, however, confirmed via X (previously Twitter) that the national energy grid has been fixed and power supply had been restored.
The statement read, “Dear valued customer, kindly be informed that power supply has been restored from the grid. Thank you for your patience.”
