Breaking: Femi Fani-Kayode Has Returned To APC.
The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has revealed that the former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has returned to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Bello disclosed this while speaking to journalists after revalidating his APC membership in the Okene area of the State on Wednesday.
Bello said the former minister rejoined the party in good faith, six years after he left for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The governor noted that Fani-Kayode is rejoining the APC to add his positive energy to the party and to contribute to the success and growth of the party ahead of the 2023 elections.
Bello disclosed that the former minister is a founding member of the party, adding that the party leadership has accepted his return to the party.
“Our brother and friend, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has joined our party in good faith. He is joining our party to come and add his own positive energy and make contribution into ensuring that APC is a party to beat.
“Remember that Chief Femi Fani-Kayode was a foundation member of this great party. Due to misunderstanding, he decided to port elsewhere, now he has decided to join our party, approached me, and by the mandate given to me by the party, I must not segregate or discriminate against any individual,” he said.
