BREAKING: Osinbajo Cuts Short His Emergency Trip, Spends Less Than 30-Mins In London, Runs Back To Nigeria, Before Over Ambitious Saraki Takes Over Aso Rock
According to Reports, Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has arrived Abuja, at about 5 a.m. on Wednesday morning, after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, in London, the British capital, on Tuesday evening.
Growing speculations have it that Osinbajo cut short his London trip, because of the fear of possible impeachment by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki-led Senate.
Recall, that Osinbajo had departed for London, on Tuesday night, to meet with the ailing President, Muhammadu Buhari.
A Reuters report, said that Osinbajo was seen entering Abuja House, the Nigerian High Commission, in the Campden Hill area of the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, in West London.
Immediately after his meeting with Buhari, which lasted for only 25 minutes, the Acting President, Presidency sources further disclosed, departed the Abuja House for Stansted Airport, London, where his plane departed London at 11.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Gistlover recalled, that Tuesday was the first time Osinbajo officially met with Buhari since he traveled to the United Kingdom, for medical treatment, for the second time this year.
A Presidency source, also confirmed that the President was recovering from his illness, but could not give a date on his return to the country yet.
