Contrary to Police and Obiano’s version that the attackers came to kill somebody due to a misunderstanding between drugs lords which originated in South Affrica, the Priest who officiated the Mass said ‘the attackers came into the Church and opened fire indiscriminately on the worshipers

All the priests in Catholic diocese of Nnewi celebrated a requiem mass in honor of lives lost in Sunday’s attack at St Philip’s Catholic Church, Ozubulu in a building close to the said parish.
