Breaking: Tribunal Declares Mutfwang as Plateau Gov

Caleb Mutfwang of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has been declared the new governor of Plateau State by the Plateau State Governorship Election case Tribunal, which is meeting in Jos after which Nentawe Goshwe of the All Progressives Congress, APC’s case was denied.

Nentawe had filed a complaint with the Tribunal contesting Mutfwang’s appointment as governor of Plateau State, claiming that Mutfwang was ineligible to run at the time of the election because he had not been duly nominated and sponsored by his Party (PDP), which had no structure at the time of the election.

The Tribunal, however, dismissed the Petition in its ruling on Friday because it lacked merit.

Two siblings from Delta State have been declared sought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for an alleged N330 million scam.

This information was included in a statement released by EFCC spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren, copies of which were provided to journalists on Friday in Warri, Delta State.

Faith Onoja, 55, and Emmanuel Onoja, 44, both from Delta State’s Ughelli South Local Government Area, were listed by the anti-corruption organization as being sought by the EFCC.

According to the commission, Faith’s last known address is “Close to Celestial Church, Ekrovie new layout, old Egini road, Orhuehorun, Delta State” while Emmanuel’s last known address is “No 6. Jasmison Street, NPDC/ND Western Estate, Warri, Delta State”

The statement urged that “anybody with useful information as to their whereabouts should contact the commission” in its offices nationwide.
