Factional National Chairman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, held a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, in his Abeokuta Presidential Hilltop residence, in Ogun State.
Sheriff and National Chairman Caretaker committee Senator Ahmed Makarfi have been dragging the leadership of the party with each other.
Political observers believe Sheriff’s visit was in connection with the crisis rocking the party.
