Sophia Chisom, better known by her stage name Soso, has expressed her admiration for Samuel Perry, better known by his stage name Broda Shaggi.
In a recent interview, Soso disclosed that she frequently consults Broda Shaggi’s YouTube channel for ideas and a clearer sense of direction for her own skits.
Soso unambiguously identified Broda Shaggi as the biggest skit creator in Nigeria when asked for her opinion.
She expressed her admiration for his craft and the influence he has had on Nigeria’s skit industry.
According to Soso, Broda Shaggi stands out from other professionals in the field because of his capacity to deliver messages in a hilarious manner.
She also praised his dependability and diligence, which have helped him build a sizable online following.
In her words:
“I think Broda Shaggi is the biggest skit maker in Nigeria. He is doing a very marvellous job. In fact, I look up to him. For certain jobs that I do right now for YouTube, I always have to go and watch Shaggi’s content.”
“Shaggi puts a lot of work into his creation, production, so all day, any day I would say Shaggi.”
In addition, the comedienne discussed the stress that comes with creating skits, claiming that it is not as simple as people believe.
It requires a lot of effort, attention to detail, commitment, and dedication, she said.
She said:
“Skit-making has been stressful, but we’re pushing; trying to put out content every day is not easy, and trying to come up with content is not easy too, but we’re doing it gradually slow and steady.”
