Nigeria’s number one citizen, President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Ebonyi State for a two-day official visit.
Buhari was received with cheer by the State Governor, David Umahi and other top government officials at about 11:15 am on Thursday, May 5.
The President had landed from a helicopter with registration number: 5N–FG1 on the pavilion inside the governor’s residence in his hometown, Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area of the state, Naija News understands.
Having exchanged pleasantries with top government officials, and traditional rulers, among others who came to welcome him, President Buhari inspected a guard of honour mounted by the Nigerian Army.
He immediately proceeded with the commissioning of the King David University of Medical Sciences Ụbụrụ in Ohaozara LGA.
In his remark, Buhari described the University as an excellent project by the incumbent government.
The president is also expected to inaugurate the ultra-modern Ebonyi international shopping mall, facilities at the newly constructed government house, and completed road projects in the state, among others.
