Nigerian superstar Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has surpassed fellow artist Tems to become the Nigerian musician with the most entries on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. This achievement came after the debut of “We Pray,” a song by Coldplay featuring Burna Boy, Little Simz, Elyanna, and Tini Stoessel, which entered the chart at No. 87 this week.

With this new entry, Burna Boy now boasts six Billboard Hot 100 chart appearances, surpassing Tems, who has five. This accomplishment places him ahead of Wizkid, the first Nigerian artist to appear on the chart, who has four entries. Other prominent Nigerian artists like Rema, CKay, Fireboy, Davido, and Lojay each have one entry.

Burna Boy is now just one song away from breaking the record held by South African rock band Seether for the most Billboard Hot 100 chart entries by an African artist.

In other news, Nigerian music star Damini Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy has become the first African artiste to sell out the iconic London Stadium twice.

With a capacity of 60,000 to 80,000 people, depending on the event, the stadium was almost packed to the brim with enthusiastic fans eager to experience Burna Boy’s electrifying performance.

This remarkable achievement is part of his ongoing world tour, following the release of his critically acclaimed album “I Told Them”.
