Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu is one of Nigeria’s biggest and most popular music stars globally and he was born on July 2, 1991 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State to Samuel and Bose Ogulu.

Burna Boy’s father was a manager at a welding company and lives a very private life, so not much is known about him, like the singer’s mother, who is also his manager. The Grammy Award winner grew up in Nigeria and contrary to popular belief, Burna Boy is not Yoruba. Burna Boy shares a relationship with Fela Kuti as his grandfather Benson Idonije was Fela Kuti’s manager during the music legend’s lifetime.
